Effects in Other Countries

This article discusses how much more taxing visual work is in countries like India and China.

I didn't know that:

• These countries' industries exploit the workers.
• In India, some workers work without salary for 4 months.
• Each worker signs a 6-monthlong contract, and the employers can decide who to keep and who to get rid of afterwards.

I disliked this article. It sickens me that these people go through so much, and their employers don't care. I also think that it's wrong that these workers sacrifice their time at home with their families,, and can be easily fired.

My one question is: Why do people do this thing, JUST WHY?
