There has been some speculation about the Twilight series, concerning that the series ruins love-lives and marriages. Is this really true though? According to most people, it is.
I didn't know that:
- Twilight was written for a teenage audience for the most part.
- Somebody actually ALMOST lost their wife over the Twilight books.
- Reading the Twilight series can actually improve a personal relationship between mothers and daughters.
I thought this article was somewhat outlandish. To think that people obsess over these books, and jeopardize their own marriages/relationships to find their own "Edward" leaves me in disbelief. I also think that it is nice, in a way, that women can "bond" over these books. Weird as it sounds, it is kind of nice.
My one question is when will people realize that romance novels/films are NOTHING like real life? I mean, seriously!
